He is an Associate Professor in English Language and Literature at Shahid Beheshti University. He teaches at BA, MA and PhD levels. His main interests include contemporary literary theory (especially poststructuralism, narrative theory, reader-oriented theories and cultural studies), contemporary fiction, and teaching literature.
