English Literature is by its very nature a fascinating, intellectually challenging, and enjoyable subject at Iranian universities. The English literature pathway offers the Iranian students majoring this subject at undergraduate and postgraduate levels exciting opportunities to study a wide range of literary texts covering a full historical spectrum, literary criticism, genres as well as literatures in English from around the globe, including British, American and postcolonial literatures. Students also have the opportunity to engage with fundamental and cutting edge developments in critical practice that have emerged in recent years. Students will develop critical writing skills that will be of use in their other studies as well as their future careers.
